45,000 Marine Species are at risk: What’s most vulnerable?

It has recently been reported by the University of Queensland’s researchers and global marine experts that over 45,000 aquatic species face threat from factors including climate change, pollution among others.

Species including molluscs (starfish, seasnails), corals (flowerpot corals), and echinoderms (hard or spiny creatures such sea urchins) are the most impacted in the oceans, and they face a diverse range of threats.
