It was an obscene scene along the Pacific coast as many Marine Animals were seen, washed up to the shore either dead or taking their last breath. Most especially the Blue Mussels alongside others like the Star Fish, Clams and Salmons were particularly hit hard by recent Heat Wave that started over the past three weeks now. “It just feels like one of those postapocalyptic movies,” said Christopher Harley, a marine biologist at the University of British Columbia who studies the effects of climate change on coastal marine ecosystems.
Sources have also confirmed that, these current extremes were as a result of Global warming stemming from human activities degrading Marine habitats and the Pacific Northwest is headed for disaster if some adequate interventions do not arise
