LET THE CELEBRATION CONTINUE

LET THE CELEBRATION CONTINUE

Reviewing all types of celebration mode in which the blue planet was celebrated by millions of people around the world yesterday, one should be excited. It was a remarkable day despite the current pandemic and the lock down measures in many countries as people took part in different events virtually and in person.

The tragic fact still remains that despite all our efforts in celebrating the ocean yesterday, the celebration might end up being a discredit if after all our pledges, community services, conferences, countdowns, events, Timeout on the street to sensitize people, webinars and lots more in the course of celebrating the ocean and we yet again engage in activities that tears the ocean apart because we feel it is no more World Oceans Day (June 8). We should rather grant justice to the blue planet by celebrating the ocean daily and promoting its well-being  by fulfilling our pledges to; avoid drainage channel abuse, recycle, reduce, remove, repair and reuse plastics, volunteer for environmental clean ups and lots more, act as  ambassadors of the blue planet and be at the war front channeling the fight against ocean pollution one again LET THE CELEBRATION CONTINUE!
