Bashir Abdullahi Sani is a final-year student of Fisheries and Aquaculture at Bayero University, Kano. He is passionate about marine and freshwater ecosystem conservation, climate-resilient fisheries, and youth-led environmental education. Bashir volunteers as an Education and Communication Specialist at Aquaworld CDI and is the founder of AquaGenesis, a digital platform raising awareness on aquatic sustainability. He has conducted research and internships with the National Institute for Freshwater Fisheries Research and contributes to multiple citizen science and international marine initiatives. Bashir is driven by a vision to apply science and storytelling for real-world impact.
