
Paul Ayomide Eweola
Paul Ayomide Eweola is a passionate and committed ocean leader and environmental advocate from Nigeria, with a B.Tech in Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology from the Federal University of Technology Akure. He has over four years of experience in project management, youth advocacy, strategic team building, and environmental sustainability, working with various organizations and initiatives across Africa and beyond.
He is the founder and executive director of Aquaworldorg, a non-profit organization that aims to catalyze actions and implement creative solutions to ocean challenges and promote the aesthetic values of coastal communities. He is also the director of operations at U-recycle Initiative Africa, a youth-led initiative dedicated to advancing environmental education, circular economy practices, and climate action across the continent. Additionally, he serves as a regional supervisor at Future Savers Sustainable Development Initiative, where he guides events, projects, and training to empower the next generation of climate actors.
His tenacity and grit for a sustainable environment have earned him global roles and recognition, such as being a National Geographic Society Young Explorer, an alumnus of the World Ocean Day Youth Advisory Council, a Global Youth Ambassador for EarthDay Network, and a Future Thought Leader at Iluminem.
He is deeply committed to applying scientific approaches to promote aquatic conservation, safeguarding our oceans and marine ecosystems for generations.
